Survival RV's are really the key to transporting yourself from point A-B. In this day of high gas prices and looming oil shortages we must point our fingers to a place where we can either unwind or survive whatever comes our way. On this page I will link you to some of the better campers that I have found on the Internet. These are people who know their stuff and generally provide excellent service and reputation. Still, the final purchases are up to you. Bon Voyage.
Alaskan-This fits on the back of the pickup truck. It is designed to collapse so it is low profile but is hydraulically raised when needed. Insulated for cold winters. Alaska
Alphil Campers-I think a lot of people would like a camper but can't afford one. It is ironic because I was talking to someone about these a few months back about Horse Trailers you can live in. B.C.
Budget Camper-Simple plans to build your own to put on the back of your truck. Must order.
EarthRoamer XVs are equipped with all the systems needed to travel confidently in remote areas for extended periods of time without dependence on external campsite hookups. Have to be the coolest systems out there.
GTRV-Home of the Westy. Camper B Van. They have various pop-tops and will custom build handicap vans for you.
Glen L RV Plans-Provides plans to the do-it-yourself crowd for campers and travel trailers. Including how to plans you can order for van conversions. California
Hallmark Truck Campers-Nice popups and designed for rugged conditions and down to -20. CO
Matilda-Motorhomes- I haven’t seen the Weekender on recent listings but they go into luxury models with the high end Captain Cook. The Weekender is designed to sit on the back of the truck, then is hitched up so you can just drive off and explore and leave the camper behind. Australia.
Motorhomes for sale-Hundreds of listings of various campers from across the USA.
Motorhome Magazine-Places to visit, types of vehicles and more.
Roadtrek-You'll find a large selection of Class B motorhomes for sale. I like the Sprinter personally.
Sportsmobile-If you want to dream about a camper van there are very few sites which give you such a high level of ideas and inspiration. Someday I would like to own one of their vans.
Vanagon Vans-This is probably one of the more complete resources on vanagons and air cooled buses, vintage style. There are dozens of subjects on repair, care and maintenance.
Whispering Wheel-A Dutch invention can make cars, busses and other vehicles no less than 50 percent more efficient and thus more environmentally friendly. Better still, the technology is already available; it all comes down to a smart combination of existing systems.
Will Jansen-This inventer built a 690 pound camper for the back of his small pickup truck. He had to find the lightest materials available to accomplish this deed. Very well done.
